TODAY IS MY 1 YEAR BLOGIVERSARY!!!

Do you know what today is? YAAASSS! It’s my 1 year blogiversary!!!! Whooo-hoooo, I can’t believe Blessed and Chic is 1 years old today! Before I even begin, I want to send a special THANK YOU to every single person who’s either supported, encouraged, read, reposted, tagged, commented, retweeted, and hearted my posts and pictures. You have no idea how much your support uplifted me in this blogging journey; For that I send my round of applauses and standing ovations. You my friends are the real MVP!

Gosh, I can’t believe it’s been a year already. I remember feeling so anxious and nervous the night before the launching. “Will people like me? Do I have what it takes? Will I stand out?” are all the questions I asked myself. I had doubt and even conjured up ideas or excuses in my mind to keep me from moving forward with the blog. I’m so glad I didn’t quit! Now as I type this a year later, I am so amazed at this journey because I’ve learned so much about myself, blogging, and entrepreneurship. I’ve even gained new friends along the way and have built connections with a community of other bloggers too.

What have I learned? I’d say quite a lot. For instance, this blogging journey isn’t always glamorous or fun. It requires great discipline and consistency. I’ve had some moments of high’s and low’s equally, however all the experiences and setbacks are apart of my story and growth. This is why I post. It keeps me going in hopes that I can encourage someone who’s on this same path as me.

What started out as an idea to share my fashion sense & style with friends has maturated into a growing platform to help others find their inner beauty by walking in purpose. Fashioning Yourself From The Inside Out is the mantra and driving force behind Blessed and Chic. Now that I have a year under my belt, I can say that I’m elated and truly humbled. I’m also excited and look forward to what the future will bring for Blessed and Chic. In the meantime I will continue to post and share with you the latest in fashion and everything else in-between. Cheers to being one years old! Again, I thank you and appreciate all my Blessed and Chic friends…
