Happy Spring to you my Blessed and Chic friends! It’s that time again! Yes, yes, yes, it’s time for my top 10 favorite fashion trends of the new season. As you know this past February, the 2016 Fashion Week was held in New York City. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to attend NYFW physically. You better believe I was able to attend for the free 99 via my MacBook and the comfort of my own home. I was truly impressed by the details and intricacies of the styles and pieces from all the designers. I can tell there were so many people in attendance and many excited to be in close proximity with their favorite designers.
So what’s the point of having a fashion week? Many designers, lovers of fashion, and high paying patrons got a glimpse of what’s to come for the Spring and Summer lines. This gives people in the fashion industry first dibs on the trends that will trend. From high fashion couture to everyday street-styles, no matter what type of fashion you’re into, there was definitely something for everyone to see and draw inspiration from.
While my top picks aren’t necessarily couture or off-the-runway styles, they do have find origins from Fashion Week. You’ll notice that the trends this time around will revive some of your memorable oldie-but-goody styles. You’ll also notice that some of your favorite trends from last season are remerging once again along with the newer styles that will have you either running to your nearest mall or leave you scratching your head pondering how some of these trends made the runway.
