BEAUTY, PINSTRIPES, & FRINGE

It is said that beauty are in eyes of the beholder. To some degree I can see how that’s true. Of course that statement couldn’t be any truer than believing that beauty is only skin skin deep…whatever that’s supposed mean. Beauty today as I know it has become the center of vanity, conceit, and borderline narcissism. It may be a little corny, but I truly believe that beauty starts and is from within. As it is said, whatever’s on the inside eventually overflows to the surface. If someone is naturally a beautiful and kind-hearted person inwardly, that is what will flow outwardly. On the contrary, if a person is mean-spirited, deceitful, or even carry an ugly attitude inwardly, it will surely manifest and rear it’s head outwardly. I can’t tell you how many beautiful people I’ve seen that are harboring so much anger, hurt, and pain, that it often comes out really ugly on the outside. After being around them long enough, you start to see the pain and hurt manifesting.

So what’s the moral of this story you ask? Well, plainly said, don’t get caught up in the hype of outwardly looks. Many of you pass up on wonderful friendships, relationships, and even courtship because outwardly beauty is where it stops for you. I believe beauty isn’t just how cute you are or how sexy you look. Beauty isn’t just how well you can dress. Beauty isn’t even about how many people you can attract. Beauty begins within and can’t no on take that away. It is the heart of kindness, self-love, and awareness of others. True beauty is seeing someone’s heart as well as their outsides.
